I've barely touched a set of knitting needles all summer, but the hint of chill in the morning air has awoken something instinctual--it's time for knitting.
And, first things first, my baby boy needed a new hat. Something simple, but with ear flaps--for reasons unclear, the ear flaps were very important to me!
You see the result above. It's the Kim's Hats pattern from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, in a beautiful skein of hand-dyed "Supernova" from Luna Grey. It's wonderfully soft, and also a bit bomb-proof, which I'm learning is important with my small fellow.
Next up, this cute little toy for a young, small lady in my life.
