Pretty leaves and chestnuts from the farmers' market....
I had never actually seen a chestnut in its natural skin before, have you? They're painfully prickly!
Thankfully they were just for show. "Chestnut Charlie" was happy to give me a sample that was already peeled and roasted to delicious nutty goodness!
