Welcome Read-a-Thoners! (And others, if you want to know what the heck I'm talking about, info here.)
For this mini-challenge, tell me a story about a character in a book you've read today who made something. It can be literal--e.g. a cake, a quilt--or more figurative--e.g. a joke, a mistake.
This challenge will run until 1 a.m. central time, at which point I will randomly choose a winner.
The prize? A set of nice, new knitting needles and a skein of bamboo yarn--so you can "make something" of your own!
Happy reading and good luck!
Update: Congrats to the winner nomareader!
