Wednesday Poll: What Breed of Dog Are You?
I'm surprised I haven't thought of this one before!
For this week's question:

Love this one! Didn't have to think too hard ;o) Still haven't posted on last one because I can NEVER remember my dreams, but YES they've been WEIRD lately!! I remember THAT much. ANYHOO...
According to quiz I am a Golden Retriever, the most laid back loyal friend anyone could ask for. Easygoing and reliable, as likely to be found outdoors with a frisbee as spending a lazy Sunday on the couch. Brainy and spoorty with expressive eyes that convey sensitivity to other people's feelings. Just need to make sure I don't let anyone take advantage of my kindness and I'll be top dog ;o)
Sort of accurate, but you won't find me with a frisbee (more likely walking or hiking) and those expressive eyes are just as likely to deliver my displeasure as they are sensitivity (my mother's family refers to it as the 'North Glare' and it is LEGENDARY). Also not so 'sporty' as I'm not at all coordinated!

Took the quiz 3 times, for maximum accuracy. Came up with Golden Retriever twice, Siberian Husky once. I can see the golden retriever thing. My dog will be surprised to learn that I am not in fact a cocker spaniel.

Hmm, last night I was a Lab, but today I'm a Golden Retriever.
I'm actually not terribly surprised that I'm not a terrier. I believe I am as persistent as my dog, but in a much less obvious way. And I'm way more easy-going and happy to keep the peace.
I wonder whether (if we could form some sort of psychological study) we would find people choose dogs that are like themselves? Or do people choose dogs that are their opposite?

I'm actually a little shocked I DIDN'T test out as a terrier. It is an interesting question. Someone I know breeds Scottish Terriers and I was informed I don't have the personality for them?! So it totally makes me wonder what it says about my personality that I have a Welsh? I've also had a Sheltie (but not typical Sheltie personality) and an Airedale which is slightly less clowny than the Welshie so I also wonder what that means? I've changed since the Sheltie days (way more laid back now than then!)

Siberian Husky, but it doesn't fit me at all. I got Golden Retriver the second time. Third time ... Golden Retriever.
But I think I'd be a mutt. :) Mavvy is a mutt, and she's pretty great. So if I were a dog, I'd want to be like her. Sweet, polite, energectic and cuddly.
So if I decide, I'd say a mutt.
