What to do when it's been raining for a week and you're stir crazy as can be? Bake bread, of course.
I made this bread after finagling the recipe quite a bit to match portions of flour and water to the amount of yeast I had--I had to play with it so much, I'm not even sure how much of what eventually ended up in it. It turned out ok, but in the future I will use a nifty trick I found on the internet today called a baker's percentage. Pretty cool, huh?
